EVENT INFO
Colors for Kids, presented by Alliance RV and Lippert, is a family-friendly 5K fun run and 2 mile walk to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County’s Brian and Jeannelle Brady Clubhouse in Elkhart, Indiana. This untimed run/walk event is geared toward families and social groups but is also appropriate for self-timed serious runners. The event includes a group warm-up, color stations and U93's Big Perm is our emcee!

The 2024 event will take place on Saturday, June 1st. The event starts and ends in Elkhart’s Central Park, with the course going through downtown Elkhart. Registration is low cost with special group and family rates available and includes a t-shirt for each registered participant.
*Children 4 years old and younger will be admitted free and do not need to be registered for the event.
About the event
Weather
We will hold the race rain or shine. We may delay the start of the race depending on weather. However, if severe weather threatens, the event will be cancelled and your registration fee will be considered a donation.
Packet Pick Up
Packet pick up will be located at the Elkhart Club 1027 McPherson St. Elkhart Thursday, May 30th 4-6pm and Friday, May 31st 12-6pm.
Run details
For checking in on Race Day when you arrive follow the signs to “Packet Pickup”/”Start Line” and check-in at the check-in tents.
You will receive a color powder pack with each registration. Additional color packs will be available on-site before the race for purchase.
The run/walk will start at Central Park/Downtown Elkhart, Waterfall Drive at High Street Elkhart, IN 46516 and finish at Elkhart Central High School. The race will begin at 9am with on-site registration opening at 8am.

The Colors For Kids race starts in Elkhart's Central Park and runs through down town Elkhart. The specific walking and running routes will be announced in the coming weeks.
