Is the color powder non-toxic?


Yes, the color powder is made with cornstarch and FDA approved food dye.




Are strollers allowed?


Yes! This is a family-friendly event. Accommodating strollers is no problem.




Where can I park?


Parking is on a first come first serve basis. There is limited parking at Central Park, as well as street parking. For more options see the map below:




Can I register at the event?


Yes. There will be a separate line for on-site registration on the day of the event. Registration opens at 8:00 A.M. on event day.




How do I get my t-shirt and color packet?


Fun run packets (which include your event t-shirt* and color packet) can be picked up two days before, the day before, or the day of the event at Central Park. Group packets should be picked up by the Group Captain. Please see the pickup schedule below.

Pre-event Packet Pickup:

Thursday, June 13, 2019 | 4pm - 6pm | Central Park, Elkhart

Friday, June 14, 2019 | 12pm - 6pm | Central Park, Elkhart

You may also pickup your race packet at event check-in on Saturday, June 15th, the day of the event. Check-in begins at 8:00 A.M. on event day.

*We cannot guarantee t-shirt sizes for t-shirts ordered after June 1st.




Why can't you guarantee my t-shirt size if I register after June 1st?


We place the order for event t-shirts several weeks before the event. While we will order extras and do our best to make sure everyone receives a t-shirt in the requested size, we cannot guarantee t-shirt sizing for orders placed after the June 1st deadline.




Is the event accessible for people with mobility impairment?


Yes. The event is equipped with ramps for ease of access to facilities and curbs.




What are the rules for kids participating?


An adult must accompany all minors. Children ages 4 years and younger are welcome to attend with their parent or legal guardian and do not need to be registered for the event. Children ages 5 years and older, must be registered for the event. Children who are not registered do not receive an event t-shirt. (A white cotton t-shirt is recommended.)




Can I ride my bike instead of walk?


No. Bicycles, skateboards, and similar items are prohibited.




How long is the fun run/walk? What is the route?


The fun run/walk is just under 3K and follows a route through downtown Elkhart.
